AFROVEST GLOBAL CAPITAL

Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of the Afrovest Global Capital website and digital deal-matching platform.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using the website or platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you use the service for a company, fund, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it. The platform is intended for adults who can legally enter into a binding agreement. Do not use it if you are prohibited from doing so by applicable law.

2. What the platform does

Afrovest Global Capital provides a digital service for business and investor profiles, opportunity discovery, fit assessment, and introductions and meeting coordination. Access may require an application, review, verification, or approval. We may accept, decline, suspend, or end access in accordance with these terms and applicable law. Approval does not guarantee that you will receive a match, introduction, investment, financing, partnership, or transaction.

3. No investment advice or offer

Platform information and introductions are provided for general business networking and evaluation. They are not investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and are not an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security or financial product. You are responsible for independently evaluating any opportunity and obtaining advice from professionals of your choice. Do not make an investment decision based only on a profile, match, introduction, or other platform content.

4. Your account and information

You agree to provide accurate, current information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and promptly update material changes to your profile or mandate. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may submit only information and files that you are authorized to provide and that do not violate another person’s rights or confidentiality obligations.

Do not misuse the service, misrepresent your identity or authority, upload unlawful or harmful material, attempt to access another account or restricted information, interfere with the platform, or use participant information for unsolicited marketing or a purpose unrelated to the interaction for which it was shared.

5. Introductions, privacy, and participant information

Access to names, organization details, documents, and other profile information depends on membership, participant consent, approval, and the platform’s privacy and matching controls. You must respect those controls and use information only for evaluating and pursuing the relevant opportunity or introduction. Do not copy, publish, distribute, or contact another participant outside the stated purpose without their permission.

Afrovest facilitates platform introductions but does not control or guarantee another participant’s accuracy, conduct, investment capacity, suitability, availability, or decision. You are responsible for your communications and due diligence. Information shared with another participant may no longer be under Afrovest’s control.

6. Calendar connection and meetings

If you connect Google Calendar, you authorize the platform to check free/busy periods and to create, update, or cancel meeting events as needed for scheduling you request. The platform does not retrieve unrelated event titles or descriptions. Meeting invitations include the meeting time and the invited attendee’s email address. You can disconnect Google Calendar in the Meetings area or revoke permission with Google. Disconnecting does not remove events already created in your calendar. See the Privacy Policy for details about calendar data and token security.

7. Membership, fees, and payments

Available plan features, prices, billing intervals, renewal dates, and any applicable taxes are shown before you confirm a paid subscription. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By starting a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges at the displayed price and interval until cancellation. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing controls provided in your workspace. Unless the checkout or applicable law says otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and access may continue through the paid period. Refunds, if any, are handled as stated at checkout or required by applicable law.

Free allowances and paid features are governed by the plan descriptions shown on the website and in your workspace. Access to paid features depends on the subscription status confirmed by Stripe and the platform. A payment failure, cancellation, or expired subscription may remove paid access; it does not automatically delete your profile, introductions, or meeting history. Do not submit full payment-card details to Afrovest; Stripe handles payment credentials under its own terms.

8. Platform content and intellectual property

You retain rights you have in content you submit. You give Afrovest permission to host, use, reproduce, and display that content as reasonably needed to operate the service, review applications, provide matching and introductions, and administer the platform in accordance with the Privacy Policy and your sharing choices. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant this permission. Afrovest and its licensors retain rights in the site, software, branding, and platform materials. You may not copy or exploit those materials except as allowed by law or with written permission.

9. Third-party services and availability

The service may rely on third-party services, including Google, Stripe, email delivery, hosting, and data-storage providers. Those services may have separate terms, permissions, availability, and privacy practices. Afrovest is not responsible for interruptions or actions of third parties outside its reasonable control. We may change or discontinue platform features and will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes where appropriate.

10. Suspension, termination, and changes

You may stop using the service at any time. Afrovest may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to suspected misuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms. Ending access does not erase records that must or may be retained under the Privacy Policy. We may update these terms by posting a revised version here with a new update date. Your continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
